The Tallahassee Police Department is currently investigating a traffic crash that claimed the life of a bicyclist. According to the Tallahassee Police Department, the traffic accident involving a vehicle and a bicyclist occurred on North Monroe Street at the I-10 overpass.

TPD says the bicyclist was taken to an area hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. The northbound lanes of North Monroe Street at the overpass are closed as the crash is investigated. Individuals in the area are asked to find an alternate route.
