Two individuals were shot on Saturday night in Temple, Texas. The Temple Police Department is investigating the double shooting. According to TPD, it is investigating an aggravated assault that led to two people being shot.

Officers responded to the 1800 block of East Avenue K for reports of an aggravated assault around 10:12 p.m. on April 27, 2024. At the scene, officers found one victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

A second victim was transported to the hospital by a family member. TPD says the victims did not sustain life-threatening injuries. No other injuries have been reported at this time.
