A woman in Anchorage suffered stab wounds to the lower body. Authorities are investigating the stabbing and searching for the person responsible. The Anchorage Police Department says officers responded to Town Square at 544 West 5th Avenue for a reported stabbing around 7:07 p.m. on April 27, 2024.

At the scene, responding officers found an adult female suffering from wounds to the lower body. The victim was transported to an area hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

APD confirms there have been no arrests at this time and no suspect information is available.
