Two men facing charge of first-degree murder in September 2023 slaying of Kyle Martin Jr

Two men are facing a charge of first-degree murder in a homicide that occurred in September 2024. According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, two homicide suspects were taken into custody after a grand jury indictment for the murder of 22-year-old Kyle Martin Jr. on Moonlight Drive.

The suspects were indicted in March on charges of first-degree murder for their alleged involvement in the fatal shooting. Martin was found in his vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He later succumbed to his injuries at the Skyline Medical Center. 19-year-old Nathaniel Harris was taken into custody at the Birch Building when he made a court appearance for an unrelated attempted homicide case.

Harris was currently out on bond for the attempted homicide case. 21-year-old Thomas Wade was arrested with assistance from the LaVergne Police Department at his residence in Rutherford County. The suspects are being held without bond.
