A woman has been arrested in connection to a stabbing incident at a Sheets store on Charlotte Highway. The Troutman Police Department reports that officers responded to Iredell Memorial Hospital after a woman arrived with a stab wound to her back.

The victim informed authorities that she had been stabbed during an altercation at the Sheetz at 1023 Charlotte Highway. A TPD Criminal Investigations Unit investigator assumed control of the investigation.

Authorities say that the suspect was identified as 43-year-old Kisha Dawn Terry of Troutman. A warrant was obtained for Terry’s arrest on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious bodily injury.

Terry was located and taken into custody by Rowan County Sheriff’s Office deputies before being handed over to the Troutman Police Department.
