A woman has been arrested for allegedly attempting to run over her children in the parking lot of a Target store in Trussville. The Tarrant Police Department reports that officers responded to the 2500 block of Mann Place for a domestic incident around 12:30 p.m. on May 5, 2024.

At the scene, TPD officers met with the victim who said items had been thrown at him and he was stabbed in the back and arm with a knife. TPD reports that officers documented injuries to the victims and witnesses corroborated these events.

It is also alleged that Claudia Tafoya tried to run over their children in the parking lot of Target in Trussville on May 4. Tayofa was charged with Domestic Violence in the Second Degree and booked into the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office with a $20,000 bond.
