A suspect has been arrested in connection to the murder of Reyna Hernandez. The Renton Police Department reports that 61-year-old Lous Hernandez remains in a Mexican jail. Officials are expected to seek his extradition to King County to face trial.

King County Prosecutors are asking for a $5 million bail for Hernandez. RPD detectives began investigating after Reyna disappeared from Renton in late February. On March 8, detectives learned that the victim’s body had been found in Mexico.

The suspect was arrested for drugs and possession of ammunition.
