A 54-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman are dead in what police are calling a murder-suicide. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the matter. According to RCSO, the Riverside Sheriff’s Dispatch received information about a suicide threat from the Glendale Police Department around 9:27 a.m. on April 28, 2024.

The Glendale Police Department received information that two people had threatened suicide and they were possibly in the area of Cajalco Road and La Sierra Avenue in Lake Mathews.

Lake Mathews Sheriff’s Station deputies responded and found a vehicle occupied by two deceased individuals. RCSO has identified the deceased individuals as 54-year-old Matthew Haze and 53-year-old Naomi Haneji-Haze of Glendale.

RCSO says the case is being investigated as a murder-suicide at this time. No other details are available.
