Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal shooting in Temple Hills, Maryland on Sunday night. According to the Prince George’s County Police Department, the victim is 22-year-old Louis Smith Jr. of Greenbelt.

Authorities are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case. Around 11:20 p.m. on May 5, 2024, officers responded to the 2600 block of Southern Avenue for a report of a shooting. At the scene, officers located Smith inside a stairwell with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. No suspect information is available at this time.
