The Lexington Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred just after midnight. The Lexington Police Department reported that 36-year-old Jerrico Roberts was arrested and booked into the Fayette County Detention Center.

Roberts was arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Devin Chenault. Roberts was also charged on unrelated warrants. He is facing charges of murder, assault 2nd degree domestic violence, tampering with physical evidence, and possession of a handgun by convicted felon.

Detectives say the shooting may have occurred in the 1800 block of Liberty Road.
