The Kansas City Police Department is investigating the city’s eighth homicide of the year. In a social media post, KCKPD reported that its officers responded to the 1700 block of Cleveland Avenue around 12:47 a.m. for a shooting call.

At the scene, officers located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The adult male victim was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A second adult male victim was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening gunshot wounds.

A third adult male victim was found outside a residence with an apparent gunshot wound. The third victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. KCKPD’s Major Case Unit is investigating the triple shooting.
