Incarcerated man charged with Murder in 2015 cold case in South Bend

A man has been charged with murder in a 2015 cold case. The South Bend Police Department announced on social media that a suspect had been charged in a homicide and robbery case that occurred in South Bend nearly nine years ago.

On April 25, 2024, the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office charged 26-year-old D’Drea Bostic with four counts in connection to the 2015 robbery and murder of 41-year-old Guiseppi Bailey. The charges also stem from the robbery of Claude Ndayahundwa.

Bostic is facing one count of Murder, Murder (Murder in Commission of a Felony), Robbery Resulting in Bodily Injury, (Attempted) Robbery, and Felony Firearm Use Sentencing Enhancement. If found guilty of murder, Bostic would face a maximum sentence of up to 65 years.

Bostic was already incarcerated in the Indiana Department of Corrections. He will be arraigned at a later date. In March, Bostic was sentenced to 105 years in prison for a 2023 homicide in South Bend.
