The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible murder-suicide that stemmed from domestic violence. Sheriff Ed Gonzalez reports on social media that HCSO units responded to a residence in the 6500 block of Desert Rose Lane.

At this time, it is believed that the incident is a murder-suicide stemming from domestic violence. Sheriff Gonzalez said in a social media post that an adult male allegedly set his wife and himself on fire.

The man and woman were pronounced deceased at the scene. Two adult children at the scene were checked by EMS, but they appeared to be unharmed. Sheriff Gonzalez and investigators are responding to the scene.
