A woman was found fatally stabbed in a dumpster enclosure in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the murder. Around 7:35 a.m. on April 29, 2024, LVMPD officers responded to the 9000 block of West Sahara Avenue.

At the scene, responding officers found a deceased woman in a dumpster enclosure. Officers suspected the woman was the victim of a homicide. The LVMPD Homicide Section responded to investigate.

Detectives say the victim suffered multiple stab wounds. At a later time, the victim will be identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office. No additional details are available at this time.
