Portland police worked a fatal shooting in the 15900 block of Northeast Everett Court at 6:37 p.m. on November 18, 2023. The 45-year-old female was deceased when officers arrived at the scene. Responding officers detained the alleged suspect at the scene.

The suspect was later identified as 43-year-old Donnell L. Watson of Gresham, Oregon. Watson has been remanded in the Multnomah County Detention Center on a first-degree manslaughter charge and multiple gun charges.

The victim, identified as 45-year-old Shamesha Danaee Allen, died of homicide by gunshot wound.
