Andre Gordon Jr will face trial for Falls Township triple murder

Andre Gordon Jr. has been ordered to face trial in a triple murder in Falls Township. The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office reports that Gordon will stand trial for killing three family members including his 13-year-old sister.

The triple murder occurred in March in Falls Township. On May 15, a preliminary hearing was held before Magisterial District Judge Terrence Hughes who sent all charges to the Court of Common Pleas.

Gordon is facing three counts of murder of the frst degree and three counts of murder of the second degree. He is also charged with a slew of charges, including burglary, robbery of a motor vehicle, and more. District Attorney Jennifer Schorn informed the court that one count of attempted homicide was also being filed.

On March 16, it is alleged that Gordon fatally shot his 52-year-old stepmother Karen Gordon, his 13-year-old sister Kera Gordon, and 25-year-old Taylor Daniel. Gordon reportedly had two children with Daniel. Gordon is accused of arriving at a residence where his father lived in a stolen vehicle.

He allegedly confronted his father outside before breaking the glass on the door with a rifle. The family members fled into separate rooms for safety. Karen Gordon phoned 911 and told police, “My stepson, he’s the one shooting.” A dispatcher heard screams and shots before silence.

At the scene, police found Karen and Kera deceased. Gordon’s father and Karen Gordon’s other teenage daughter were unharmed. A visiting relative escaped uninjured. Then, Andre Gordon Jr. allegedly drove to a residence on Edgewood Lane where he forced his way inside and fatally shot Taylor Daniel. Her mother, Nancy Daniel, was injured when Gordon allegedly bludgeoned her with an assault rifle when she attempted to stop him.

Following the last murder, Andre Gordon is accused of carjacking a 44-year-old man and going on the run for several hours until he was tracked to New Jersey. Authorities found Gordon barricaded with hostages at a residence in Trenton, New Jersey around 12:22 p.m.

He was finally taken into custody at 5 p.m. five blocks away from the home. Authorities say he had changed his appearance in an attempt to conceal his identity.
