Two people have been shot in Wilmington, Delaware. One man is dead and another has been hospitalized. The Wilmington Police Department reports it is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred around 2:10 p.m. in the 400 block of South Heald Street.

Once police arrived at the scene, they located a 19-year-old male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim succumbed to his injuries. Another 19-year-old male victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
