According to the Portland Police Bureau, a woman was fatally shot in the Parkrose Heights neighborhood. East Precinct officers were dispatched to a report of someone shot outside an apartment complex in the 11100 block of Northeast Weidler Street on November 22, 2023 just before 4 PM. Upon arrival, police found an adult female deceased, according to a press release.

Police say the suspect or suspects had left the scene before police were called. No immediate arrests were made. The Portland Police Homicide Unit responded to the scene to investigate. During the investigation, a section between NE Weidler Street, NE 108th Avenue, and NE 112th Avenue was closed.
