A 17-year-old girl was shot in Baltimore, Maryland tonight. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The Baltimore Police Department reports that officers responded to the 2100 block of West North Avenue for reports of a shooting around 9:18 p.m. on May 4.
BPD says the investigation suggests a suspect began speaking to the victim inside a business at the aforementioned location. The suspect allegedly followed the victim and discharged his handgun after the victim and her friends indicated they wanted to be left alone.
The 17-year-old female victim suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the hand. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
