The Delaware State Police is investigating a homicide in Bridgeville after a man was found deceased. According to a press release from the Delaware State Police, authorities are investigating a homicide in Bridgeville after a man was found deceased on a roadway. On November 25, 2023 around 3:33 PM, troopers were dispatched to the 21000 block of Mill Park Drive in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival, troopers located a 26-year-old man who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. At this time, the victim’s name has not been released. The Delaware State Police said the preliminary investigation revealed that the victim had been on Mill Park Drive talking to a large group of people standing in the roadway.

An unknown individual shot the victim before the crowd fled the scene. Police have not released any suspect information. The Homicide Unit is investigating the incident.
