According to a Memphis Police Department social media post, officers responded to a report of an aggravated assault in the 4600 block of Popular Avenue on November 25 around 12 PM. Officers were informed that a black male suspect broke into a Dodge Charger in the parking lot. The victim reportedly alerted the suspect and used his phone to record him.

At that time, the suspect allegedly turned and fired shots at the victim. Police say the suspect in the photos is the person responsible for the shooting. Gunfire struck the business which had several occupants. The suspect is being described as a black male in his early 20s. At the time, he was wearing a blue jacket and was armed with a handgun.
