Detectives from DC Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District have arrested a man for armed robberies in the Fourth District. According to a press release from the Metropolitan Police Department, 62-year-old Darryl Love, of Northwest DC, was arrested and charged with two counts of armed robbery.

On November 10, 2023 just before 7:30 PM, police say the suspect approached the victim in the 5200 block of Georgia Avenue NW. The suspect reportedly produced a handgun and took the victim’s property before fleeing the scene. On November 23, 2023 just before 11:45 PM, the suspect allegedly approached the victim in the 5400 block of Georgia Avenue NW.

Again, the suspect brandished a weapon and demanded property from the victim who did not comply. Responding units apprehended the suspect.
