Stockton Police Department investigating homicide on November 21 around 10:31 PM. Police responded to the area of March Lane and Pershing Avenue for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, police found a 20-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers provided life-saving measures until medics reached the scene.

Despite the efforts of medics, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Homicide detectives were notified and are responding to take over the investigation. A social media post from the Stockton Police Department says there is no motive or any releasable suspect information at this time. The police department advises that the intersection at March Lane and Pershing Avenue is shut down in all directions for the duration of the investigation.
