Portland Police say a suspect has been arrested and charged with first-degree manslaughter in connection to a fatal shooting in the Glenfair neighborhood on Saturday. On November 18, 2023 around 6:37 PM, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 15900 block of Northeast Everett Court. Upon arrival, officers found an adult female deceased. Responding officers detained a suspect. Police say no other suspects are being sought.

The Portland Police Bureau Homicide Unit took over the investigation. 43-year-old Donnell L. Watson of Gresham, Oregon, was arrested. Watson was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center. He is facing charges of Manslaughter in the First Degree with a Firearm and Felon in Possession of a Firearm, according to a press release from police.
