A 59-year-old male has succumbed to injuries related to a vicious canine attack.

Yuma County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a deceased male on December 15, 2023, around 8:30 a.m. in the 10600 block of S. Avenue 33E. Following a preliminary investigation, deputies determined the male victim was attacked by a canine the night before.

A canvas of the area did not locate the canine. Deputies describe the canine as large breed, weight about 100 pounds. The canine was gray and white spotted.
