An infant is dead after it was left in a hot car Tuesday night. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office reports that the infant died after being left in a car in Cordes Lakes on Tuesday night.

YCSO received a report that a baby was left in a car and was believed to be dead. YCSO deputies responded to the scene with medical personnel.

At the scene, authorities confirmed the tragedy. The investigation is ongoing. No other details are available at this time.
