The Clay County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a Worship Leader for Elevate Life Church in Oakleaf Plantation. CCSO reports that a three-month-long investigation led to the arrest of Jeremiah Paul Glover.
Special Victims Unit detectives initiated an investigation in early June 2024 in connection to alleged criminal sexual activities that happened between March and June of 2024. Authorities allege that Grover was involved with a 16-year-old juvenile who was also a member of the suspect’s church.
Police claim Grover traveled and met with the victim in Clay and Duval counties and engaged in sexual criminal conduct. Jeremiah Paul Grover is charged with Unlawful Sexual Activity with a Minor, Traveling to Meet a Minor, Lewd and Lascivious Touching, and Transmission of Harmful Material to Minors.
Grover’s bond has been set at $325,015. Authorities believe this is an isolated incident and there are no other victims. Anyone with information is asked to call CCSO at 904-264-6512 or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
