The Worcester Police Department announced a swift arrest following a robbery at the Gateway Foods on Millbury Street. Officers with WPD were dispatched to the Gateway Foods for a report of an attempted robbery around 11 p.m. on December 21, 2023. At the scene, officers spoke to witnesses who explained that a man entered the store, walked up to the registered, and demanded money.

The male suspect left the store and ran down Millbury Street toward Endicott Street. Officers were shown the man before they went to find him. A short time later, officers found a male matching the image near the intersection of Millbury Street and Endicott Street.

49-year-old Donald Scott, of Georgia, was placed under arrest for Unarmed Robbery and an outstanding warrant.
