Wood County Sheriff’s Office looking for juvenile and young male in shooting on Friday

Update – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office has announced charges against two suspects in connection to a shooting on September 20 in the Briarwood neighborhood.

According to WCSO, one suspect, Joseph V. Turpin, has already been arrested. The second suspect, Rodney D. Hill, has been charged and will be arrested pending extradition from Ohio.

No other details are available at this time.

Original – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for two suspects in connection to a shooting on Friday. WCSO reports that deputies are on the scene of a shooting in the area of Center Street and Meadowview Drive.

One victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. It is believed the victim was shot with a handgun. The victim’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. WCSO says it is searching for a white juvenile male around 5’6 with brown hair.

The juvenile was wearing a white t-shirt. The second suspect is described as a young white male around 5’10 and heavy set. The second suspect was wearing a red or orange shirt. Anyone who sees the suspects should call 911.
