Wood County Sheriff’s Office confirms Bradley Cantwell is in custody

An arrest has been made in connection to the deaths of James Clifton Bailey and Felicia Jean Goff in Walker, West Virginia. Law enforcement agencies cooperated to arrest 41-year-old Bradley Cantwell in the 1600 block of Blizzard Drive in Parkersburg around 4:25 p.m. without incident.

A second person, Gage Robert Foutty, was arrested on unrelated charges including aiding and abetting. WCSO says Foutty was driving the vehicle they were occupying at the time. Cantwell was arrested in connection to the fire that occurred at 389 Morgan Ridge Road in Walker around 12:39 p.m. on May 19.

Once the fire was under control, firefighters entered the residence and found two deceased individuals. It was later determined that the victims had died as a result of gunshot wounds prior to the fire being set. WCSO says there will be no further press releases on the matter because this is an open investigation.
