A pedestrian has died following a hit-and-run crash in Portland, Oregon. The Portland Police Bureau reports that North Precinct officers responded to the southbound I-5 off-ramp to North Broadway around 11:08 p.m. on April 2, 2024 following a report of a woman lying in the road who appeared to have been struck by a vehicle.
When officers reached the scene, they located a deceased female victim. The driver of the vehicle did not remain at the scene. PPB’s Major Crash Team responded to the scene to investigate. During the investigation, the southbound I-5 off-ramp to North Broadway/Moda Center will be closed.
