The Wilmington Police Department is currently investigating the shooting of a 20-year-old man. WPD reports that the shooting occurred around 7:05 p.m. on June 29, 2024 in the 400 block of West 7th Street.

At the scene, officers found a 20-year-old male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition. No other details are available at this time.
