West Yorkshire Police are investigating following the fatal stabbing of a woman in the Bradford city center. Now, authorities are looking for a suspect in the case. Around 3:21pm on April 6, 2024, police responded to Westgate at the junction with Drewton Road after receiving reports that a woman had been stabbed. The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
In a later update, authorities confirmed that the victim had succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. Although the woman had not been formally identified, it was said that she was a 27-year-old woman. On April 7, 2024, detectives named a man wanted on suspicion of murder.
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 25-year-old Habibur Masum who is wanted in connection to the fatal stabbing on April 6. At the time of the attack, the victim’s baby was in a pram nearby. The baby was not harmed. Authorities say the victim and suspect are known to each other.
