The West Fargo Police Department is currently investigating the fatal stabbing of a 38-year-old West Fargo man. WFPD reports that officers responded to the 1400 block of 12th Street West for reports of a medical emergency.

At the scene, responding officers found 38-year-old Alexander Anderson with a stab wound to the chest. Life-saving measures were taken, but the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

WFPD says the preliminary investigation indicates that 31-year-old Robyn Lee is the suspect in the stabbing. Lee was taken into custody and is being held at the Cass County Jail. No other details are available at this time.
