The Waco Police Department is searching for a suspect in connection to a homicide that occurred early Sunday morning. WPD reports that officers responded to a local hospital around 3:11 a.m. on May 19, 2024.
An adult, 47-year-old Darrell Davis, had suffered a gunshot wound. Davis succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. WPD confirms the next of kin has been notified. WPD’s Special Crimes Detectives are investigating the shooting.
WPD is looking for the suspect involved in the homicide. No other details are available at this time. WPD is investigating the homicide as Waco’s 7th of 2024.
