The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting on Thursday evening. VSO says its detectives are on the scene of a fatal shooting at a residence off of Liza Clinton Road in Edgewater.

Authorities received an initial report around 5:10 p.m. saying that an adult female victim had been fatally shot during a domestic disturbance. Police say the adult male shooter is receiving treatment for a minor injury.

The man will be interviewed by detectives. No other details are available at this time.
