A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Chandler “Frenchie” Heath of St. Croix, U.S Virgin Islands. Quasheem Christian was apprehended during a traffic stop on Melvin Evans Highway without incident.

Virgin Islands Police Department responded to Bolongo Bay in St. Thomas at 9:37 p.m. on January 29, 2023, to investigate a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Quasheem Christian has been remanded to John Bell Correctional Facility on a first-degree murder charge. Christian’s bail was set at $1 million which he has not been posted at this time.
