The Virgin Islands Police Department has announced the final arrest in the slaying of Milton Gordon. According to VIPD, Criminal Investigation Bureau and Major Crime Unit detectives arrested 19-year-old Ryan Branch on February 10, 2024, when he returned to the island of St. Croix. Branch has been charged with Murder in the First Degree.

On April 2, 2023 around 3:17 a.m., 911 received Shot Spotter alerts of shots fired at Company Street near the Divi Divi Fabric Store. At the scene, officers found a deceased adult male who had been shot multiple times. The victim was later identified as Milton Gordon.

VIPD said he was known as a harmless, homeless veteran who was often referred to as Bobo. Detectives say Elijah Spencer and Ryan Branch called the victim to where they were before fatally shooting him without provocation. Elijah Spencer was arrested and charged with Murder in the First Degree on May 2, 2023.
