A victim is recovering following a shooting incident in Lynchburg, Virginia. The Lynchburg Police Department reports that it received a report of shots fired in the 1500 block of Park Avenue around 7:40 p.m. on Wednesday.

At the scene, responding officers found one victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm. The victim was transported to Lynchburg General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
