The Utica Police Department has announced the arrest of a third suspect in a double shooting on Whitesboro Street. According to UPD, two males were located and taken into custody within days of the shooting. The third suspect absconded from parole out of State Island before his location was narrowed to a residence in Utica.

Various law enforcement agencies helped locate and apprehend 31-year-old William Brooks without issue. Brooks was taken to the Utica Police Department and charged with Attempted Assault in the first degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second degree.
