Upland, California – The Upland Police Department is currently investigating the death of a 33-year-old woman.
According to UPD, officers responded to an apartment in the 2000 block of West Arrow Route for a welfare check around 8:20 p.m. on December 31, 2024.
UPD said in a statement that the reporting party said a 33-year-old woman did not show up for work and they were unable to get in touch with her.
At the scene, officers were able to see inside a window. UPD says they saw an unresponsive female with visible injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities confirm they are investigating a homicide. No other details are available at this time.
