The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has announced the arrests of two women following a child exploitation investigation. The OSBI reports that the Okmulgee Police Department requested OSBI to investigate a child sexual abuse case on October 21, 2024.
Earlier that day, an individual reported the production of child sexual abuse material from a residence in Okmulgee, according to authorities. OSBI says it identified two suspects, 31-year-old Jennifer Ann Prescott and her mother 56-year-old Sharon Ann Mitchell.
OSBI alleges that the women were living with two children and were sexually exploiting one of the minors. Authorities say they carried out a search warrant and found explicit images on the suspects’ electronic devices.
Prescott and Mitchell were booked into the Okmulgee County Jail on charges of Child Sexual Exploitation. Their bonds have been set at $100,000.
