Two people arrested after man in his 20s stabbed in west Belfast

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said in a media release that police have arrested two people in connection to a stabbing in west Belfast on Wednesday morning. According to Detective Sergeant McAllister, authorities received a report that a man had been stabbed in the St Bernadette’s Avenue area just after 2.45am on Wednesday, 10th April.

When officers reached the scene, a man in his 20s was found suffering from multiple wounds to his face, body, and arms. The victim was transported to an area hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. Authorities have arrested a 38-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman on suspicion of attempted murder.

The man and woman are still in police custody.
