Two Nashville residents arrested for allegedly raping a young boy for five years

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department has arrested an East Nashville couple for allegedly raping a young victim for five years. According to a news release from MNPD, the arrest comes after a five-month-long investigation by Youth Services Division Detective Rachael Robinson.

The couple was recently indicted on several counts of child rape. 38-year-old Angel Slattery and her husband, 24-year-old Michael Slattery, are accused of raping the victim over a period of five years. When the abuse began, the victim was only seven. The male victim was in the custody of the couple for a time.

He reported to authorities that the couple would sexually assault him together and separately. Both suspects are charged with five counts of Rape of a Child, Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child, Displaying Sex Acts to a Minor, and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
