Tulsa Police arrest international murder suspect Victor Antonio Martinez Hernandez

An international murder suspect has been arrested by the Tulsa Police Department. TPD reports that Victor Antonio Martinez Hernandez was wanted for a crime spree that started in El Salvador and spread across multiple American cities.

TPD says Hernandez is wanted for murder in El Salvador. Hernandez then showed up in Los Angeles where he allegedly violently assaulted a 9-year-old girl and her mother during a home invasion.

Hernandez allegedly arrived in Harford County, Maryland where he is accused of killing mother of five, Rachel Morin, while she was walking down a trail. Authorities believe he was hiding near the trail and attacked Morin before fleeing Maryland.

On Friday night, the FBI contacted TPD Special Investigations Division Detectives. Authorities converged on a bar at 21st and Garnett where the suspect was found casually sitting inside. Hernandez was placed under arrest.

TPD says he initially lied about his identity and denied knowing about the crimes in question. Hernandez is awaiting extradition for the crimes.
