The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect following a pursuit. According to TCSO, deputies attempted to stop a stolen vehicle near 49th West Avenue and Charles Page Boulevard on the night of April 4, 2024. The 20-year-old driver allegedly took off and led deputies on a pursuit.
The pursuit concluded when the vehicle crashed into the fence of a home near the 4900 block of Charles Page Boulevard. TCSO says the suspect fled on foot while leaving his 1-year-old child and the mother in the stolen car. Last night, TCSO deputies tracked the suspect, 20-year-old Gael Lopez, to an apartment in the 5100 block of South Vandalia where he allegedly attempted to hide in a closet.
Lopez was arrested and booked on charges of kidnapping and domestic assault. His 18-year-old girlfriend, Angelina Green, was arrested for harboring a fugitive. TCSO confirms Green is not the woman who was in the vehicle with Lopez on the night of the pursuit.
