The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office has announced multiple arrests in connection to the murder of 25-year-old Angel Puga of Farmersville. TCSO reports that its deputies responded to the 29100 block of Road 166 in Farmersville around 1 a.m. on October 27, 2024 for a report of a man on the ground.
At the scene, TCSO says its deputies found Puga suffering from blunt force trauma and a gunshot wound. Authorities confirm that the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Homicide Detectives say Puga was at a large Halloween party.
As he was trying to leave, he was confronted by a group of Northern gang members who began beating him. Detectives say the victim was shot during the assault before everyone ran from the scene.
An autopsy concluded that Puga died from blunt force trauma. Detectives say they have identified 20-year-old Landon Woods, 18-year-old Eric Bullard, 22-year-old Matthew Makert, a 17-year-old boy, and two 16-year-old boys are those responsible for Puga’s death.
Authorities confirm that all suspects are in custody at this time.
