The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of 43-year-old Jason Mitchell of Strathmore. TCSO says its deputies responded to Strathmore Middle School in the 19800 block of Orange Belt Drive for a report of threats made toward four female students and school staff around 3 p.m. on November 21, 2024.

TCSO says Mitchell had threatened to assault and kill four girls at the school as well as school staff. According to authorities, Mitchell was tracked down and booked into the Tulare County Jail for making criminal threats.
