The Tracy Police Department is currently investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Thursday. TPD officers responded to a report of a bank robbery at Bank of America at 3120 West Grant Line Road around 4:30 p.m. on August 8.
Patrol division officers responded to the area, but the suspect managed to flee and elude authorities. TPD says a bank employee reported that the suspect was an adult male.
At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a light pink hat, white sunglasses, gray zip-up sweatshirt, and light-colored jeans. The man entered the bank and demanded money in a threatening manner.
Following the robbery, the man fled in a vehicle that was reportedly stolen from the Bay Area. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Jasper Juan at 209-831-6983.
