The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a homicide in Spanaway. According to PCSD, deputies responded to a call of a shooting in the 3700 block of 159th Street Ct E in Spanaway around 11:32 a.m. on March 4. Deputies were informed that a male victim had been shot inside the home.

Responding deputies detained four individuals inside the house. The 35-year-old male victim was transported to an area hospital. He succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital. Detectives and forensic investigators responded to the scene to assume control of the investigation. PCSD said detectives collected two guns and other evidence.

No suspects are in custody at this time.
